The TRX Buggy line of vehicles was an evolve-by-tweak series of competition racing buggies.
The TRX-1 used a single decked graphite chassis with 30 degrees of kick-up in the front. The bulkhead was made of white nylon, bolted to the kick-up, and used 2 shock-tower mounts. The bellcranks pivoted on aluminum posts, and the servo was mounted on two posts. The battery had a small front tray that was movable to shift the weight bias depending on the track. The rear shock-tower was mounted to the bulkhead, which in turn mounted to the transmission and chassis. The transmission was a four-piece unit. The main transmission was white-nylon, and came with metal gears and ball bearings. The motor plate bolted onto the transmission halves, and then a rear guard was attached, which protected the motor, provided support to the motor plate, and provided airflow. The a arms front and rear were white-nylon. The rear arms attached to separate a arm mounts, and the fronts attached to the bulkhead. The shocks were big bore. The front wheels rode on immobile spindles, bearings in the spoked white wheels, and caster blocks. The rear wheels were white spoked, and rode on hub carriers and hexes. The body was a classic cab-rear buggy, with a wing mounted on wires.
The TRX-3 shared the same front/rear as the TRX-1. The chassis was a duel-decked fiberglass composite chassis. The upper deck attached to the main-chassis mounted battery-tub white plastic tray sides. The shell was a classic buggy, with a large wing. A later update was the TCP, which meant Total Competition Package. It included black or white nylon parts, dished rims, option MIP CVD's, and 2 shocks.
